Anti-LMOD1 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com as a rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent, this unconjugated primary antibody recognizes human leiomodin-1 (LMOD1), an actin-binding protein of the tropomodulin family that supports pointed-end filament assembly in cardiac and visceral smooth muscle. Originally described as the 64 kDa autoantigen recognized in HCV-associated mixed cryoglobulinemia, LMOD1 has become a marker of interest in cardiac remodeling research, with reduced transcript and protein levels reported in failing human myocardium. The 200 µl liquid vial supplies enough material for multiple western blot, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry runs on human samples, the validated applications for this lot. Standard immunoblotting is used to detect the expected band in the 64–67 kDa region, antigen-retrieval protocols on FFPE sections serve immunohistochemistry, and indirect intracellular staining workflows suit flow cytometry.
