Sourced from Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and directed against the N-terminal region of human LIR-1 (leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor 1). Supplied as a 50 µl liquid at 1 mg/mL in PBS with 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, the antibody is unconjugated and validated for Western blot (WB) and ELISA workflows on human samples, where it recognizes endogenous levels of the LIR-1 protein. The antiserum is purified by affinity chromatography against an epitope-specific immunogen, helping to minimize cross-reactivity and support reproducible detection in cell lysate and tissue-derived samples. For routine bench handling the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at -20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve antibody integrity. Researchers studying inhibitory immune-receptor signaling, NK-cell and monocyte biology, or ligand interactions of LIR-1 with MHC class I molecules will find this reagent suitable for both qualitative WB band detection and quantitative ELISA-based measurements, and it is intended for research use only.
