LIR-1 (Leukocyte Immunoglobulin-like Receptor 1, also called CD85j or LILRB1) is an inhibitory cell-surface receptor that belongs to the LILR family and is expressed on NK cells, T cell subsets, B cells, monocytes, and dendritic cells. It engages classical and non-classical HLA class I molecules and contributes to immune tolerance and the regulation of effector responses. The Anti-LIR-1 Antibody offered by Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against the human protein and supplied in an unconjugated format.
Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody suitable for Western blot and ELISA workflows. Researchers studying NK cell biology, HLA-mediated inhibition, or maternal-fetal immune interactions use this reagent to detect LIR-1 expression in primary immune cells and in cultured human cell lines. For routine storage, the vial should be kept at -20°C in working aliquots, with refrigeration for short-term use and protection from light to preserve reagent stability across repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
