Anti-LIPC Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com for research laboratories studying hepatic lipid metabolism, this rabbit-derived immunoreagent is raised against recombinant human LIPC (hepatic lipase / HTGL) and affinity-purified using the immunogen. It is supplied as an unconjugated polyclonal antiserum of the IgG isotype, presented at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL aliquot of phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The reagent specifically detects endogenous total LIPC protein and is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunocytochemistry / immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications on human samples. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Intended for research use only, this product is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications, and its reactivity profile, host species and unconjugated format make it suitable for downstream labelling with secondary detection reagents of the user's choice.
