The LIN28B protein (Lin-28 homolog B) is an RNA-binding zinc-finger regulator that blocks let-7 microRNA processing and governs stem cell pluripotency, developmental timing, and oncogenic reprogramming. Reactivation of LIN28B in adult tissues has been documented in hepatocellular carcinoma, colorectal cancer, ovarian cancer, Wilms tumor, and neuroblastoma, establishing it as a biomarker of interest in tumor biology and regenerative medicine research.

This rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as a 100 µl vial of unconjugated antiserum. It has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FC) workflows, with reactivity confirmed against human LIN28B. The polyclonal antibody format offers multi-epitope recognition, which is advantageous when probing full-length LIN28B (~27 kDa) or isoform variants in cell lysates, paraffin-embedded tissue sections, and permeabilized cell suspensions.

For handling, aliquot the antibody upon arrival and store at -20°C in a frost-free freezer to preserve activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles. The unconjugated format allows flexible pairing with HRP, fluorophore, or biotin secondary detection reagents of the researcher's choice, supporting both chromogenic and fluorescent readouts across experimental platforms.
