Anti-LIN28A Antibody

This purified mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets LIN28A, an RNA-binding protein best known for blocking maturation of let-7 microRNAs and for partnering with OCT4, SOX2, and NANOG to maintain pluripotency in embryonic stem cells. Reactivation of LIN28A has been reported in several solid tumours, which is why the reagent is widely used to profile stemness and oncogenic reprogramming programs across cell-line panels and patient-derived samples.

Supplied as 50 µl of purified immunoglobulin in 0.1 M Tris-Glycine buffer at pH 7.4 with 150 mM NaCl, 0.2% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, the antibody is unconjugated and validated for western blot on human and mouse lysates. For best results store at -20 °C in working aliquots, avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light; the glycerol cryoprotectant keeps the protein stable for routine bench handling and shipping on cold gel packs.

Because it was raised in mouse and recognises an epitope conserved between the two listed reactivity species, it pairs cleanly with anti-GAPDH or anti-beta-actin loading controls on the same membrane and is compatible with standard HRP-conjugated anti-mouse secondary reagents for chemiluminescent detection of the approximately 28 kDa LIN28A band.
