Raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent, this unconjugated primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets the LIM and senescent cell morphological domain 1 (LIMS1) protein, also known in the literature as PINCH1. LIMS1 is a key adaptor in the integrin-linked kinase–PINCH–Parvin (IPP) complex that localizes to focal adhesions and mediates crosstalk between integrins and the actin cytoskeleton, with established roles in cell adhesion, spreading, migration, and survival signaling.
The reagent is supplied as 50 µl of neat antiserum and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. Researchers studying focal-adhesion biology, integrin signaling, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, renal development, cardiac mechanotransduction, or tumor cell motility can use it to detect endogenous LIMS1 in whole-cell lysates by immunoblotting or to visualize focal-adhesion staining patterns in fixed cells.
