Anti-LIMS1 Antibody

Rabbit-derived polyclonal primary antibody raised against the LIMS1 focal-adhesion protein (also known as PINCH1), supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent in a 100 µl vial format for research use only. The antibody recognizes LIMS1 in Human, Mouse, and Rat samples and is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence applications, making it suited to studies of integrin-linked signaling, cell-extracellular matrix adhesion, cytoskeletal remodeling, and migration in both cell culture and tissue models.

LIMS1 encodes a five-LIM-domain scaffold that partners with integrin-linked kinase and Nck-2 at focal adhesion complexes, and this reagent supports detection of the endogenous protein by immunoblotting of cell or tissue lysates and by indirect immunofluorescence staining of cultured cells and frozen sections. Recommended starting conditions are 1:100 to 1:1000 for Western blot and 1:50 to 1:200 for immunofluorescence, with empirical optimization according to antigen abundance. For storage, keep refrigerated at 4 °C for short-term use; aliquot and freeze at -20 °C for longer-term retention and protect from repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve polyclonal reactivity.
