Anti-LIMS1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against LIMS1 (also called PINCH1), this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets a focal-adhesion scaffold protein that forms part of the integrin-linked kinase (ILK)–PINCH–α-parvin complex. The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a 100 µl liquid, and has been validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples.

LIMS1 contains five LIM domains that couple integrin signals to the actin cytoskeleton, so the reagent is commonly used to study cell spreading, migration, adhesion-dependent survival, and tissue remodelling in research settings. The polyclonal format offers broad epitope coverage for detection of endogenous PINCH1 in cell lysates, fixed tissue sections, and cultured cells, and the glycerol-containing buffer allows the antibody to be stored at -20 °C with minimal freeze-thaw loss for routine benchtop use.
