Anti-LIMS1 Antibody

This Rabbit polyclonal antibody targets LIMS1, also referred to as PINCH 1, and is supplied by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent. The unconjugated IgG antibody is validated for Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), and Immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, and it reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

The antibody was raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–325 of human LIMS1 (NP_001180417.1) and is affinity purified. It is provided as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, with a reported molecular weight of 40 kDa. Recommended working dilutions are WB: 1:500–1:2,000, IHC: 1:50–1:200, and ICC/IF: 1:50–1:100. The concentration is lot specific.

The product ships at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C upon arrival, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The LIMS1 protein displays low tissue specificity and is associated with focal adhesion sites and the cytosol, with the gene mapped to chromosome 2 (108534355–108687246).
