Anti-LIMK1 (phospho T508) + LIMK2 (phospho T505) Antibody

Phosphorylation at threonine 508 of LIMK1 and threonine 505 of LIMK2 marks the activated state of these actin-regulatory kinases. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, supplied in a 200 µl volume, was raised against both phosphoepitopes and is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous human LIMK1 and LIMK2 in their active, kinase-competent forms.

Because the reagent is phospho-specific, it is useful for monitoring activation downstream of upstream regulators such as ROCK1, ROCK2, PAK1, and PAK4, which themselves sit under Rho-family and Rac/Cdc42 GTPase control. Applications include studies of actin cytoskeleton remodeling, cell migration, neurite outgrowth, and tumor cell invasion, where transient LIMK activation drives cofilin phosphorylation and subsequent actin filament turnover.
