Anti-LILRA1 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets LILRA1 (Leukocyte Immunoglobulin-Like Receptor Subfamily A Member 1, also referred to as CD85i or LIR-3) and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) applications on human samples. LILRA1 is an activating member of the LIR family expressed on the surface of monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, and certain lymphocyte populations, where it contributes to innate immune signaling through recognition of classical MHC class I molecules.

Supplied as 100 µL of unconjugated rabbit antisera, the reagent is reactive with human LILRA1 protein. Researchers investigating immune receptor regulation, antigen presentation, and innate immune cell activation use this reagent to probe LILRA1 expression in transfected cell lines and primary myeloid cells. The polyclonal format offers multi-epitope recognition, which is useful for detecting the full-length receptor and for assays where redundancy against a single epitope is beneficial.

For storage and handling, aliquot the antibody upon receipt to minimize freeze-thaw cycles and store at -20°C in a frost-free freezer; for short-term working stocks, refrigerated storage at 4°C is acceptable for several weeks. Because LILRA1 is a surface receptor subject to post-translational modification, gentle fixation conditions such as mild paraformaldehyde are advisable for immunofluorescence on intact cells.
