Anti-LIG3 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against DNA ligase 3 (LIG3) and is validated for use in Western blotting, immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence applications. The antibody is generated from a recombinant human LIG3 immunogen and affinity-purified against the same antigen, allowing it to detect the endogenous total pool of LIG3 protein in samples derived from human, mouse, and rat origin. Supplied as a 50 µl liquid stock at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, the preparation is unconjugated and free of divalent cations (Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), making it a flexible primary for downstream detection with labelled goat anti-rabbit IgG secondary reagents such as those offered by the same supplier in HRP, FITC, biotin and AP formats. The host species is rabbit and the clonality is polyclonal, consistent with the heterogeneous affinity profile typical of purified polyclonal pools. For routine handling, vials are shipped at 4 °C and, upon arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C to preserve activity, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
