The LIFR (Leukemia Inhibitory Factor Receptor) is a subunit of the gp130 family of cytokine receptors and mediates signal transduction through the JAK/STAT pathway upon binding its ligand, leukemia inhibitory factor. This unconjugated polyclonal reagent, raised in rabbit, supports research into pluripotency maintenance, neural development, bone remodeling, trophoblast biology, and inflammatory signaling.
Validated for Western blot and ELISA workflows against human samples, the antibody is supplied as a 100 µl vial. For long-term use, aliquot the reagent and store at -20 °C to preserve activity; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light during handling.
Investigators probing leukemia inhibitory factor signaling, cytokine receptor crosstalk, or gp130-related pathway activity will find this reagent suitable for detection of endogenous human LIFR in cell lysates and conditioned media. This Antibodies.com primary antibody is intended for research use only and is reactive with human LIFR.
