Produced in rabbit as a polyclonal IgG and supplied in a 100 µl vial, this unconjugated primary antibody from Antibodies.com binds the human Leukemia Inhibitory Factor Receptor (LIFR) for Western blot detection.
LIFR is a type I transmembrane cytokine receptor that partners with gp130 to form a heterodimeric signaling complex for leukemia inhibitory factor and related IL-6 family cytokines. Activation drives JAK/STAT, MAPK, and PI3K/AKT cascades, which are studied in trophoblast implantation, motor neuron survival, pluripotent stem cell maintenance, and tumor progression.
Recommended for Western blot workflows on human-derived samples, the antibody is supplied unconjugated to permit flexible choice of secondary reagent and detection chemistry. Aliquot upon receipt and store refrigerated, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity across blots.
