Anti-LIF Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and targets human LIF. The unconjugated reagent is of the IgG isotype and reacts with human samples.

The manufacturer's documentation lists Western blot (WB) as the validated application with recommended dilutions of 1:500–1:2,000, while the Antibodies.com product entry lists immunohistochemistry (IHC) as the intended application. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 1–100 of human LIF (NP_002300.1).

The antibody is affinity purified and supplied as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal. The reported molecular weight is 35 kDa and the concentration is lot specific. The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
