Anti-LGR5 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com as a polyclonal reagent raised in rabbit, this primary antibody recognizes LGR5 (Leucine-rich repeat-containing G-protein coupled receptor 5), a seven-transmembrane receptor that marks adult stem cell populations in intestinal crypts, gastric antral glands, and hair follicle bulges and is also reported on subsets of tumor-initiating cells in colorectal, gastric, and hepatocellular carcinomas. The antibody is supplied as an unconjugated IgG in a 200 µl volume, validated for western blot and flow cytometry applications, and shows reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples to support both basic stem cell biology and oncology research programs. Researchers commonly use it to enrich or detect LGR5-positive stem and progenitor populations by surface staining in flow cytometry, and to confirm expression of the receptor in tissue and cell lysates by western blot, with aliquoting recommended to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the stock solution.
