Anti-LEP Antibody

This polyclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, is raised in rabbit and targets LEP (Leptin). It is of the IgG isotype and is provided in unconjugated form.

According to the manufacturer datasheet, the reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, with reactivity confirmed against Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. It was generated against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 1–100 of human Leptin (NP_000221.1), and the target protein has a molecular weight of 15 kDa.

The antibody is supplied as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, following affinity purification. Recommended starting dilutions are WB at 1:500–1:1,000 and ICC/IF at 1:50–1:200. The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
