Anti-Legionella pneumophila Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com through AFMS, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against whole-cell preparations of Legionella pneumophila (ATCC #33152, strain Philadelphia 1) and is offered as a purified Ig fraction in a 500 µL volume. The unconjugated antiserum is recommended for ELISA, IFA (indirect immunofluorescence assay) and Western blot workflows, and is reported to react with L. pneumophila serogroups 1–12, recognising multiple antigens of the intact microorganism. Because the antiserum has not been adsorbed, cross-reactivity with related bacteria cannot be excluded. The host species is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal, the isotype is IgG, and the conjugate is unconjugated; the product is supplied as a liquid Ig fraction in PBS buffer with 0.09% sodium azide as preservative and no stabilising proteins added. For handling, the antibody should be stored undiluted at 2–8 °C for up to one month, or aliquoted and kept at -20 °C for longer periods, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided. The reagent is intended for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
