Anti-LEG4 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal primary antibody targets LEG4 (Galectin-4), a tandem-repeat galactoside-binding lectin encoded by LGALS4 and best characterized in gastrointestinal epithelial tissues, where it participates in lipid raft stabilization, apical vesicle trafficking, and mucosal barrier function. The unconjugated reagent is supplied by Antibodies.com at 100 µL per vial and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows on human samples. Researchers use it to probe galectin-4 expression in colorectal carcinoma, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, and inflammatory bowel disease cohorts, as well as to track its redistribution between cytosolic and membrane fractions during epithelial differentiation.
