LDHD encodes human lactate dehydrogenase D, a mitochondrial enzyme that oxidizes D-lactate to pyruvate using NAD+ as a cofactor. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against the human LDHD protein and supports Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry workflows on human samples. The antibody is supplied as a 200 µL liquid aliquot and is intended for research use only, suited to studies of D-lactate metabolism, mitochondrial bioenergetics, and methylglyoxal detoxification. The polyclonal format targets multiple epitopes on LDHD, giving broader recognition of the antigen than a monoclonal reagent and helping detect the enzyme in tissues such as liver and kidney where the protein is naturally expressed. As an unconjugated primary antibody, it is compatible with a broad selection of secondary reagents and detection chemistries for custom immunolabelling panels.
