The LDHB antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal IgG raised against Lactate Dehydrogenase B, supplied unconjugated in liquid form. LDHB encodes the H (heart-type) subunit of the tetrameric lactate dehydrogenase enzyme, which catalyzes the interconversion of lactate and pyruvate during anaerobic glycolysis. This subunit preferentially converts lactate to pyruvate and is widely studied in tumor metabolism, Warburg-effect research, and muscle physiology.
Validated for Western blot detection in human, mouse, and rat samples, this reagent is provided at 100 µg per vial and recognizes the ~36 kDa LDHB protein. For optimal stability, store at -20 °C in working aliquots to minimize freeze-thaw cycles. A recommended starting dilution of 1:500 to 1:2000 is suggested for Western blot. Intended for research use only.
