LCP1 (Lymphocyte Cytosolic Protein 1), also called L-plastin or plastin-2, is an actin-bundling protein essential for cytoskeletal remodeling in hematopoietic lineage cells. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against the human LCP1 sequence and cross-reacts with mouse and rat orthologues, supporting comparative studies across common mammalian model systems.

Validated applications include Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF), allowing researchers to probe LCP1 expression at the protein level in cell lysates, formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, and cultured cells. LCP1 is normally restricted to immune cells including T lymphocytes, B cells, neutrophils, and macrophages, where it regulates adhesion, migration, and immune synapse formation; ectopic expression has been reported in solid tumors, making this reagent useful for both immunology research and oncology investigations into cytoskeletal regulation.

Each vial contains 100 µl of antisera, supplied as a liquid stock that should be stored at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles. For research use only.
