Anti-LC3a Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against LC3a and validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) workflows. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues 5–10 (R-P-F-K-Q) of the human LC3A sequence, and the antibody was affinity-purified on an epitope-specific peptide column to deliver selective detection of endogenous total LC3A protein. It cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, making it a flexible tool for autophagy research across the most common model systems. Supplied unconjugated at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL aliquot, the reagent is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. Upon receipt, users should aliquot the antibody and store it at –20 °C, taking care to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
