Anti-LAT Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises LAT and is validated for Western blot (WB) applications on human samples. It is supplied as an unconjugated liquid with IgG isotype and is purified by affinity chromatography. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 95–262 of human LAT (NP_055202.1), and the target migrates at a molecular weight of 35 kDa.

For Western blotting, the recommended dilution range is 1:500 to 1:2,000. In a representative validation experiment, extracts of THP-1 cells were probed with the antibody at 1:1,000 dilution, with a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) secondary used at 1:10,000; lysates were loaded at 25 µg per lane, blocking was performed in 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST, and signal was developed with an ECL Basic Kit (exposure time: 1s).

The product is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Concentration is reported as lot specific.
