The N39 clone targets human LASS2, also called CERS2 (ceramide synthase 2), a putative tumor suppressor originally characterized in renal cell carcinoma and implicated in sphingolipid biosynthesis and apoptosis regulation. This Antibodies.com antibody is validated for western blot, immunocytochemistry, and immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded sections, and recognizes the endogenous protein at an apparent molecular weight of approximately 44 kDa.

Supplied as 100 µg of liquid monoclonal antibody (mouse IgG2b, unconjugated), the reagent is intended for research use only. Store at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and refer to the included datasheet for recommended dilution ranges across each application.
