Anti-Lamin A + C Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com raised against Lamin A + C and supplied as an unconjugated IgG. It is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation and chromatin immunoprecipitation, and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing amino acids 403–572 of human Lamin A/C (NP_733821.1).

Provided as a liquid in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) with 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, the antibody has been affinity purified. It is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. Concentration is lot specific.

Reported molecular weights are 68 kDa and 72 kDa. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for western blot, 1:50–1:200 for immunohistochemistry, 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF and 1:20–1:100 for chromatin immunoprecipitation.
