Anti-Lamin A/C (5D12) Antibody

This mouse monoclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com targets the Lamin A/C nuclear intermediate filament proteins. Clone 5D12 recognizes both the Lamin A (~74 kDa) and Lamin C (~65 kDa) isoforms that arise from alternative splicing of the LMNA gene, providing a robust nuclear envelope and loading-control marker in human cell and tissue studies.

Validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence, the unconjugated antibody is supplied as 100 µl of purified immunoglobulin in 0.1 M Tris-Glycine buffer (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.2% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol.
