Anti-LAMB1 Antibody

Laminin subunit beta-1 (LAMB1) is the ~200 kDa β-chain that combines with α and γ partners to assemble basement-membrane heterotrimers such as laminin-1, laminin-2, and laminin-10. The unconjugated polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit is supplied by Antibodies.com in a 50 µl volume and detects the human and mouse protein in Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows. It is widely used to study cell-matrix adhesion, epithelial and neural tissue morphogenesis, blood-brain barrier assembly, and remodeling of basement membranes in development and disease models. Because the reagent is polyclonal, it recognizes multiple epitopes on LAMB1, which is useful when probing denatured lysates on membranes or fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.
