Anti-LAMA4 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com as a rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent, this antibody was raised against human laminin subunit alpha-4 (LAMA4), a basement membrane glycoprotein that assembles into laminin-411 (α4β1γ1) and laminin-421 (α4β2γ1) heterotrimers in the extracellular matrix.

Validated for Western blot detection of full-length LAMA4, the reagent is used to characterise vascular basement membrane assembly, endothelial cell adhesion, cardiomyocyte architecture, and neuromuscular junction organisation. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as a 200 µl liquid aliquot and is intended for immunoblotting of human cell or tissue lysates run under reducing SDS-PAGE conditions.

For best results, store at -20°C in working aliquots and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The polyclonal IgG format allows recognition of multiple epitopes across the LAMA4 protein, which is helpful when probing truncated or post-translationally modified forms of the alpha-4 subunit.
