Kv4.3, encoded by the KCND3 gene, is a Shal-family voltage-gated potassium channel that carries the transient outward current (Ito) in cardiomyocytes and A-type currents in hippocampal and cortical neurons. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as a lyophilised 100 µg vial and binds the Kv4.3 pore-forming α-subunit, supporting detection by ELISA and Western blot in mouse-derived samples. The polyclonal IgG is delivered unconjugated, giving laboratories the flexibility to conjugate HRP, fluorophore, or biotin according to their assay design. Lyophilised aliquots should be reconstituted in sterile distilled water prior to use and stored frozen at -20°C for long-term stability, with short-term storage on ice during active protocols. Confirmed mouse reactivity makes this antibody a useful tool for studies of cardiac action-potential repolarization, neuronal excitability, and voltage-gated channel trafficking. Researchers examining Brugada syndrome susceptibility, atrial fibrillation mechanisms, or the co-assembly of Kv4-family subunits can apply this antibody to membrane preparations for Western blot and to indirect ELISA quantification of recombinant or endogenous Kv4.3 protein.
