Anti-Ku-70/XRCC6 (7B1) Antibody

Sourced through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified mouse monoclonal reagent targets the Ku-70 subunit of the Ku heterodimer (XRCC6), raised against purified recombinant human Ku70 protein fragments expressed in E. coli and supplied as clone 7B1. Provided in a 50 µL aliquot of an unconjugated liquid formulation in PBS (pH 7.2) containing 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol at approximately 1 mg/mL, the IgG1 isotype antibody is validated for Western blotting (1:1000), immunocytochemistry (1:50–1:200), and immunoprecipitation (1:50–1:200), with reactivity confirmed in Human and Monkey samples including HeLa, A549, COS7 and K562 cell lysates. The antibody detects endogenous levels of the ~70 kDa Ku-70 band by SDS-PAGE with >95% purity, shows no cross-reactivity with related proteins, and should be stored short term at 4 °C or aliquoted for long-term storage at −20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles (Swiss-Prot P12956).
