Anti-Ku-70 (R586) Antibody

Raised in rabbit against human Ku-70, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2. Ku-70 (XRCC6) is the ~70 kDa DNA-binding subunit of the Ku70/Ku80 heterodimer that initiates non-homologous end joining (NHEJ) at DNA double-strand breaks and contributes to telomere capping, V(D)J recombination, and genome stability maintenance.

The reagent has been validated for western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications on human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting studies in DNA damage response, genotoxicity screening, and investigation of anti-Ku autoantibodies relevant to autoimmune myositis and scleroderma overlap syndromes.
