Anti-Ku-70 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and directed against human Ku-70 (also referred to as the 70 kDa subunit of the Ku heterodimer involved in DNA double-strand break repair). Supplied at 1 mg/ml in a liquid formulation containing PBS with 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, the unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blotting (WB) and ELISA, and specifically detects endogenous levels of the Ku-70 protein in human samples. The immunogen corresponds to a synthetic peptide derived from human Ku-70 around the non-acetylation site of K542, and the antibody is purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using that epitope-specific immunogen. The 50 µl aliquot should be stored at -20 °C, where it remains stable for up to one year.
