Anti-KRT20 Antibody [Assigned #A11401]

This unconjugated rabbit monoclonal primary antibody targets cytokeratin 20 (KRT20), a type I intermediate filament protein of approximately 46–48 kDa that is selectively expressed in gastrointestinal epithelium, urothelium, and Merkel cells of the skin. Produced by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl IgG reagent, the clone supports Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation workflows, with validated reactivity on human and rat samples.

Cytokeratin 20 is widely used in surgical pathology as part of the CK7/CK20 immunostaining panel to distinguish primary tumor sites. A CK20-positive, CK7-negative profile is characteristic of colorectal adenocarcinoma, while Merkel cell carcinoma and many urothelial lesions also stain positive. The antibody is supplied as a ready-to-use liquid in a vial and should be stored refrigerated to preserve activity; aliquoting is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the working stock.
