Keratin 19 (KRT19) is a type I intermediate filament protein of approximately 40 kDa expressed in simple and glandular epithelia. This rabbit monoclonal antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com at 200 µl as an unconjugated IgG, is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) applications and reacts with human and mouse samples.

KRT19 is among the smallest members of the keratin family and serves as a marker of epithelial differentiation. Researchers apply it to identify carcinoma cells of epithelial origin in studies of hepatocellular carcinoma, thyroid, breast, and gastrointestinal malignancies, as well as in circulating tumour cell research. Reactivity with both human and mouse samples supports translational studies and preclinical mouse model work.

For storage, keep refrigerated for short-term use; aliquot and freeze at -20 °C in single-use portions to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding activity. The unconjugated format offers flexibility to conjugate the antibody to a chosen reporter dye, enzyme, or bead system in custom assay development.
