Anti-KRT18 (phospho S33) Antibody

From Antibodies.com's Primary Antibodies range comes a rabbit polyclonal antibody that recognises Cytokeratin 18 (also known as KRT18) when phosphorylated at serine 33. The unconjugated IgG reagent is raised in rabbit and is affinity purified, then supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide.

It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples, with recommended dilutions of 1:500–1:1,000 for WB and 1:50–1:100 for IHC. The immunogen is a phospho-specific peptide corresponding to residues surrounding S33 of human KRT18. In published Western blot data, lysates from HT29 cells, treated or untreated with EGF, were loaded at 25 µg per lane, blocked with 3% BSA and detected with a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L HRP-conjugated secondary at 1:10,000, with the target band corresponding to a molecular weight of 48 kDa. The antibody is shipped at 4°C, should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C with freeze/thaw cycles avoided, and is intended for research use only.
