Anti-KRT14 Antibody

The KRT14 antibody from Antibodies.com is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent that recognizes cytokeratin 14, a type I intermediate filament protein of approximately 50 kDa expressed in the basal layer of stratified squamous epithelia. Supplied as 200 µl, it is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry and cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting epithelial stem cell studies, skin biology research, and characterization of basal cell populations in tissue sections. As a basal keratinocyte marker, it is widely used to investigate epidermal development, wound healing, and the pathogenesis of epidermolysis bullosa simplex, a hereditary skin fragility disorder linked to KRT14 gene mutations.
