Anti-KPNA6 Antibody

KPNA6, also designated Importin Alpha 7, functions as a nuclear transport receptor that recognizes classical nuclear localization signals and mediates cargo import across the nuclear envelope. This unconjugated polyclonal antibody, raised in rabbit, is reactive against both human and mouse KPNA6 and is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. Validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows, the reagent is provided as a 100 µl vial for routine laboratory use. KPNA6 has been characterized in published studies for its role in DNA damage response pathways, including interactions with BRCA1 and NBS1 during repair signaling, and in nuclear import of transcription factors relevant to neural differentiation.
