KPNA2 (Karyopherin Subunit Alpha 2), also referred to as importin α1, is a nuclear import receptor that ferries cargo proteins bearing classical nuclear localization signals into the nucleus. This unconjugated polyclonal reagent was raised in rabbit and binds KPNA2 across human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative work in cell and tissue models from multiple species. The antibody is supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is validated for western blot detection of endogenous protein, immunohistochemistry on fixed tissue sections, and immunofluorescence imaging of subcellular localization. Researchers tracking KPNA2 levels, nuclear relocalization, or transport receptor behavior in oncology, cell signaling, and nuclear trafficking studies use this reagent from Antibodies.com to move from antibody validation into specific biomarker or mechanism experiments. For short-term use, store refrigerated at 4°C; for long-term storage, aliquot and freeze at -20°C, minimize freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light.
