Anti-KNG1 Antibody

Produced in rabbit as an unconjugated polyclonal reagent, this antibody recognizes human Kininogen-1 (KNG1), a 644-residue plasma glycoprotein that serves as the precursor of bradykinin and a key cofactor in the contact activation cascade of intrinsic blood coagulation. Researchers studying the kallikrein–kinin system, hereditary angioedema, or vascular inflammation use this reagent to track full-length high-molecular-weight kininogen and its proteolytic fragments.

Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry, the antibody binds the native KNG1 target in human tissue sections and cell lysates. Each vial is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, shipped as a 100 µl aliquot. The glycerol-containing buffer allows storage at −20 °C with minimal freeze-thaw damage between uses.
