Kallikrein-Related Peptidase 6 (KLK6) is a secreted trypsin-like serine protease studied in neurodegeneration, multiple sclerosis, and tumor microenvironment research. This unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com provides reliable detection of the human protein in Western Blot (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows, with the rabbit host enabling multi-epitope recognition across KLK6 isoforms.

KLK6, also known as neurosin, hK6, or PRSS9, is implicated in amyloid precursor protein processing, myelin turnover, and extracellular matrix remodeling, and is frequently examined in ovarian carcinoma, breast carcinoma, and glioma samples where its expression correlates with disease progression. The reagent reacts with human KLK6 and is suited to probing endogenous protein in cell lysates, tissue homogenates, and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections.

Each vial contains 100 µl of polyclonal antibody in a buffer suitable for standard immunodetection protocols. For best results, aliquot upon receipt, store under refrigerated conditions, and protect from light; avoid excessive freeze-thaw cycles to preserve titer. Investigators in neuroscience, oncology, and biomarker discovery programs use KLK6 detection to characterize protease activity, screen compound libraries, and validate transcriptomic findings at the protein level.
