Anti-KLK5 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against human Kallikrein-Related Peptidase 5 (KLK5), this unconjugated polyclonal IgG from Antibodies.com targets a secreted serine protease encoded within the kallikrein gene cluster on chromosome 19q13. KLK5 drives corneocyte desquamation in the epidermis and is expressed in skin, prostate, breast, and various tumor tissues, making it a relevant marker in studies of skin barrier function, inflammation, and cancer progression.

Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated liquid antiserum, the antibody supports Western blot detection of human KLK5, including the full-length proenzyme and the catalytically active forms generated through the KLK proteolytic cascade.
