Anti-KLK1 Antibody

The Antibodies.com anti-KLK1 polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and targets Kallikrein-1, a serine protease encoded by the KLK1 gene on chromosome 19q13.3. KLK1 cleaves low-molecular-weight kininogen to release bradykinin, linking it to vasodilation, blood pressure regulation, renal sodium handling, and inflammatory signaling pathways. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and the 100 µl vial supports multiple experimental runs in Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows.

Validated for use on Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, the reagent detects endogenous KLK1 expression across tissue types including kidney, pancreas, salivary gland, and vascular endothelium.
