The Anti-KLH Antibody [KT82] from Antibodies.com is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 isotype control supplied as a liquid formulation in a 200 µg size. KLH (Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin) is a high-molecular-weight copper-containing oxygen transport protein derived from the marine mollusk Megathura crenulata, widely used as a carrier protein for hapten conjugation in vaccine and antibody research. The KT82 clone specifically recognizes KLH and is commonly deployed as a negative isotype control in flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence experiments to account for non-specific Fc receptor binding or background signal when working with mouse IgG1 primary antibodies.
