Anti-KLH Antibody [KT119]

The KT119 clone is supplied by Antibodies.com as a purified mouse IgG2b monoclonal antibody raised against Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin (KLH), a large copper-containing respiratory protein frequently used as a carrier for haptens in conjugate vaccine and antibody production workflows. Because it recognises a non-mammalian epitope that is absent from typical experimental samples, this reagent is widely employed as a negative isotype control in flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry, allowing accurate gating and background subtraction when matched to the host species, isotype, and conjugate format of a primary antibody.

The antibody is provided as a 200 µg liquid preparation in a single vial, unconjugated and free of carrier stabilisers that could interfere with downstream conjugation or labelling reactions.
