This polyclonal antibody targets KLF17 (Krüppel-like factor 17), a zinc-finger transcription factor studied for its role as a tumor suppressor and negative regulator of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and metastasis in breast, lung, and gastric cancer research. Raised in rabbit, the unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, in a 100 µl volume.

Validated for Western blot (WB) workflows, the antibody recognizes endogenous KLF17 in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting cross-species investigations into EMT signaling, metastasis suppression, and Krüppel-like transcription factor biology. Short-term storage at 4 °C is recommended; for longer-term use, aliquot and freeze at -20 °C to preserve activity and limit freeze-thaw cycles. Sodium azide is included as a preservative, which is incompatible with certain downstream conjugation chemistries, so researchers planning custom labeling should account for this in their protocol.

Antibodies.com supplies this anti-KLF17 antibody as a research use only reagent intended for laboratory studies of gene regulation, cancer cell invasion, and downstream transcriptional targets linked to the KLF family.
