Anti-Kit Ligand Antibody [KT118]

The Antibodies.com anti-Kit Ligand monoclonal antibody (clone KT118) is a rat IgG2a reagent that recognizes human Stem Cell Factor (SCF), the cytokine ligand for the c-Kit receptor tyrosine kinase. Supplied as an unconjugated liquid preparation at 200 µg per vial, it is validated for ELISA-based quantification of SCF in cell culture supernatants and recombinant protein samples. KT118 has been used in research on hematopoietic stem cell maintenance, mast cell differentiation, melanocyte development, and gametogenesis, where SCF/Kit signaling plays a central role. The clone recognizes both membrane-bound and soluble forms of Kit Ligand. For optimal stability, aliquot the antibody upon arrival and store frozen; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
