Polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit against the killer-cell immunoglobulin-like receptor 2DS4 (KIR2DS4) activating receptor, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated IgG preparation. KIR2DS4 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the KIR gene cluster that is expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and a subset of cytotoxic T lymphocytes, where it contributes to activating immune responses upon recognition of specific HLA class I ligands. The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows and is reactive with human samples, making it a useful tool for NK-cell receptor repertoire studies, leukemia and lymphoma phenotyping, and investigations of maternal-fetal immune tolerance.

Each vial contains 200 µl of the polyclonal IgG antibody in an unconjugated format, allowing researchers to conjugate it to fluorophores, biotin, or HRP according to their preferred detection chemistry. Investigators should keep in mind that KIR2DS4 has a common deleted allelic variant in human populations, so confirming full-length expression of the receptor in experimental samples is advisable before drawing functional conclusions.
