Anti-KIR2DS4 Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com recognizes human KIR2DS4, a Killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptor family member expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and on a subset of T lymphocytes. Raised in rabbit, the unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is shipped as a 100 µl aliquot ready to dilute into standard immunodetection workflows.

Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry, the reagent supports studies of NK cell receptor expression and downstream signaling in human immune populations. KIR2DS4 is unusual within its family because some alleles encode activating isoforms and others encode inhibitory isoforms, and altered expression has been associated with reproductive immunology, outcomes in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and the host response to certain viral infections. Pairing the unconjugated primary with HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary reagents of the user's choice keeps detection chemistry flexible across immunoblot, IHC, and immunofluorescence platforms.

Store the vial frozen at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light once thawed. The product is for research use only, with confirmed reactivity to human KIR2DS4; cross-reactivity with closely related KIR proteins has not been characterized.
